Why organ?? And what has a thunderstorm to do with it?? As a jazz and rock musician I have a strong affinity to all different kinds of electronic instruments. I built even a simple homemade synthesizer together with my father - engineer Klaus Böttcher - in 1981. But looking for the historic roots I logically arrived at the pipe organ. This is the first intrument that makes possible to create sounds from several para- meters. So one can say that the pipe organ is the oldest synthesizer. Following this thought I don’t make a difference between “natural” and “electric” sounds because electricity is nature too. We can see this at every thunderstorm. Enter with me a world full of surprises as they are typical for a music that comes from the moment - and be welcome.
